Justin Adams & Juldeh Camara
Justin Adams is one of the most interesting and creative guitarists of the present day, and is especially well-versed in the blues and African styles he has been working on for over two decades. He co-recorded the album Mighty Rearranger by Robert Plant (formerly of Led Zeppelin), launched in 2005. As producer, he has worked with some of the great World Music stars, such as the Saharans Tinariwen, and the Strange Sensations (Robert Plant’s band), as well as Brian Enno, Jay Wobble and Lo’Jo.

Juldeh recorded a CD of traditional Gambian music with Bill Laswell, which was the album that Justin Adams listened to for years before receiving a call from Juldeh. Together they recorded Soul Science, an album that carries the listener off on a journey through a very special, imaginary world and which says much about the two musicians.
Justin Adams and Juldeh Camara take to the MED stage on the 27th of June.
