DJ Click Live With a passion for both electronic music and for traditional music of various origins, DJ Click is a member of the collective UHT (electro-jazz-world). “DJ Click is one the best, if not the best, example of how one can transport a large variety of traditional music into a future where the music of Jews and Muslims, Spanish gypsies and Eastern Europeans, blacks, whites and people of mixed race and a variety of origins, can all exist side-by-side, blending and dancing in a utopian space craft filled with new music; new music genres such as dub, electro and drum’n’bass.” (António Pires, Raízes e Antenas).

In 2007, DJ Click recorded Flavour for the No Fringe label (of which he is the director). “Featured on this album, either in their pure state or often remixed by DJ Click, are tracks by Turkish musician Burhan Öçal, the stunning Hungarian singer Mitsoura, [dunkelbunt] from Germany, Transglobal Underground, Laxula (Spain), Rachid Taha (Algeria), the Balkan project Tziganiada (produced by DJ Click) and many others. A buzzing party, always futuristic but with an ever-present touch of tradition at its heart”.  (António Pires, Raízes e Antenas).

The French DJ will be on stage at the MED on the night of the 26th of June.
