Latin rhythms from the Netherlands Originating from the Netherlands, trio Zuco 103 is made up of Lilan Vieira, Stefan Kruger and Stefan Schmid. Leaving aside their various nationalities (a Brazilian, a Dutchman and a German), Zuco 103’s music is characterised by a fusion of distinct styles such as electro-pop, bossa nova and samba.

The band was formed in 1999 and, in this same year, they launched their début album, “Outro Lado”, which won the Heineken Crossover Award. In 2003, they recorded “Tales of High Fever”, a mixture of rock, soul and samba that consolidated the recognition they had achieved with their earlier work.

Zuco 103 will be performing their most recent work, “After the Carnival” on stage at Med Festival at 10.45pm on the 27th of June.
